A majority of the accommodation available at Worthy View have sold out, following a mass rush by ticket-holders determined to secure a good spot for next year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Tickets for Worthy View (whose site is situated moments from the action at Glastonbury’s Worthy Farm), went on sale at midday today (27th October), selling out in around 15 minutes. In a Twitter announcement, Worthy View organisers informed potential customers that “yurts, tipis, bell tents, podpads, bunkpads and bellepads for 2015 have now sold out”; however scout tents were still available at time of going to press (how much longer for remains to be seen).

Those who were unlucky to grab a spot at Worthy View needn’t be too upset, though…. with a ticket resale confirmed for next Spring, it’s likely spaces will become available at the campsite from ticket-holders who no longer able to attend the iconic event (confirmed to run 24-28th June 2015). Additionally, Glastonbury’s on-site Tipi Village (which is separate from Worthy View) will also be selling accommodation packages in April (ideal for those looking to ‘glamp’ up); the on-sale will coincide with the date final balances for Glastonbury 2015 tickets are due (likely from 1st April onwards).

Tickets for Glastonbury 2015 sold out in record time upon their release earlier this month, and whilst heavy rumours have been circulating regarding potential headliners, no act has yet to be confirmed thus-far.
