Regular Stagedoor FM readers will know that we regularly support our ‘Ones To Watch’ finalists; from picking them early-on to helping drive traction to their new work as the year progresses.
To that end, last year we picked newcomer Alison Levi as one of our ’14 For 2014′ (alongside a host of other names who have come into their own over the past twelve months), so it’s only right we bring to you Alison’s latest piece, her impressive cover of One Direction’s new single Steal My Girl.
Unveiled globally to their huge fanbase yesterday, Steal My Girl is the lead single from One Direction’s upcoming fourth studio record, FOUR, whilst Levi’s cover strips back the pop/rock-inspired track, to something more emotive. Accompanied by Mario Ellis on guitar, Levi adds another level to Steal My Girl, definitely one we’re sure One Direction fans would approve of.
