His previous single I’m Not The Only One may have been out for less than a month, but that hasn’t stopped Sam Smith unveiling the official video for Restart, the latest track to be lifted as a single from his hugely-successful debut album In The Lonely Hour.

Focusing on life during this summer’s festival season, the video for Restart is more a combination of fan-footage, alongside behind-the-scenes clips as well as visuals from Smith’s multitude live performances over the past few months. Whether there’s a hint of competitiveness in there or not, Lily Allen (aka Sam Smith’s cousin) also paid homage to festivals in the video for As Long As I Got You back in the summer, so good to hear they’re keeping it in the family!

A release date for Restart has yet to be confirmed, however expect more singles to drop from In The Lonely Hour – presumably Sam Smith’s hectic schedule over the past year has limited the time available to write (and record) any new material. In The Lonely Hour is out now though, and definitely worthy a purchase (hit the iTunes link to download).
