As part of Radio 1’s ‘Even More Music Month’, Sam Smith has taken to the station’s Live Lounge, unveiling his wondrous cover of Tracy Chapman’s iconic Fast Car.
Smith’s emotive cover of the 1988 hit single added further support to the track’s poignant message, telling the story of life in poverty to a new audience that may not have been born when the track received its initial release.
