Last night, former Royal Navy fitness coach Jay James led Twitter into a spin, with a standout performance of A Great Big World’s Say Something, their heartfelt collaboration with Christina Aguilera from earlier this year.
Well it seems that it’s not just Twitter that felt the repercussions of James’ performance; the success of audition has seen sales of the track go through the roof, with Say Something now proudly sitting at number 15 in the UK iTunes single chart, ironically one place ahead of X Factor judge Cheryl Cole’s Crazy Stupid Love.
Elsewhere in the iTunes / X Factor crossover, Amy Connelly’s rendition of With You, from Ghost The Musical has too seen success in the charts, now placed at No.32.
