Last night (August 19th) saw Laura Mvula take to the BBC’s Proms at London’s Royal Albert Hall, for a one-off special performance in celebration of her new collaborative record with the Metropole Orkest.

The new collection, which saw Mvula re-record her 2013 project Sing To The Moon with the famed Dutch orchestra, dropped almost a fortnight ago, receiving rave reviews from critics; ultimately though, it’s Mvula’s sheer talents that allowed her access to the Proms, one of the most acclaimed (and credible) nights of the world-music calender.
