During a backstage interview at yesterday’s V Festival in Staffordshire, iconic disco hitmaker Nile Rodgers has confirmed multiple new projects with some of the world’s biggest artists.

Speaking to Heart West Midands, Rodgers added to the already-confirmed co-writing with Duran Duran and Mark Ronson, by announcing new collaborations with B.o.B., Janelle Monae and Pharrell Williams.

Rodgers is fast-becoming one of the busiest producers on the scene; aside from working with some of the globe’s biggest stars, he’s also recording the finishing touches to a brand new Chic record (release-date unannounced as yet).

The mega-producer also confirmed work on Avicii’s upcoming sophomore record, as well as “a great record with Carl Cox” on the horizon, whilst also in the studio with David Guetta and Sam Smith.

Busy man indeed! Nile Rodgers and his Chic band are set to grace the second day of V Festival, this time in Chelmsford, later on this afternoon.
