Following their impressive Me And My Broken Heart hitting the top spot in the UK charts last weekend, British four-piece Rixton have shared new track Wait On Me.
Whilst every effort has been made (by fans and the mainstream media, alike), to give Rixton the ‘boyband’ moniker, Wait On Me gives us an interesting cue to the Manchester-based group, potentially giving Brits some kind of answer to Maroon 5 versus being an all-and-out pop-act.
It remains to be seen what happens with Rixton; sure they have a young fanbase, but if they can keep driving songs like Wait On Me, then the opportunity for the band to hit ‘credible’ stakes might not be too far away.
