Craig David is back, returning with brand new track Cold.
Sounding more determined than his previous releases, Cold hears the British R&B vocalist reignite sounds akin to his sophomore record Slicker Than Your Average, entwined with some Usher-esque BVs. It’s an interesting choice to relaunch his career, and whilst first play may not instantly grab, the second spin will undoubtedly make it more infectious (though the abrupt stop at the end does make for some slight disappointment).
Nevertheless, it’s good to have him back. At this moment it’s unclear as to whether Cold is a promotional track or the lead-up to a forthcoming EP/full-length album…. stream below though and as always, let us know your thoughts:
