Following the impressive Let Me Down Gently, Elly Jackson, aka La Roux, has shared brand new track Tropical Chancer.

The Caribbean-inspired track, which gives reggae a more ‘noughties’ makeover, is the latest song to be lifted from Jackson’s upcoming Trouble In Paradise album, set to drop next month. La Roux recently confirmed herself and ex-writing partner Ben Langmaid are no-longer in contact (Ben initially made up on-half of La Roux, and was jointly-responsible for their 2009-hit, Bulletproof).

Tropical Chancer will not be released as an official single, moreso as a promo track for the new project. Instead, Uptight Downtown will precede the release of Trouble In Paradise, one week prior to when the new collection hits shelves. Jackson is also set to take the album on tour later this year; full dates are below.
