During their show in Montereau over the weekend, Nile Rodgers and his iconic band Chic took to the stage to perform Rodgers’ 2013 mega-hit collaboration with Daft Punk, Get Lucky.
With the exception of January’s Grammy Awards, Rodgers has refrained from performing the song live (rights issues had apparently prohibited this); additionally, whilst his 2013 tour with Chic did indeed lead [at points] into the track, it was never supported by a full instrumental, moreso just the chants from the band and the crowds.
