Alongside the likes of Sam Smith, Becky Hill, K Stewart and more, MNEK seems to be one of the ‘new-breed’ of impeccable talent surfacing from the UK, the overseas impact being seen Stateside too, with US duo Abhi // Dijon choosing to remix MNEK’s latest cut Every Little Word for the masses.
Stripping the 80’s-inspired soulful-funk track back in its entirety, the Abhi // Dijon focuses more on a downbeat-electro vibe, full of some wonderful synths that wouldn’t sit out of place on Annie Mac’s Musical Hot Water Bottle shows.
