Kate Stewart has been bubbling under for a while now, but finally this could be her time to break as a soloist, following her stint with Bondax on their live shows. The sister of David Stewart (one of our 2014 ‘Ones To Watch’), Kate, who goes by the name of ‘K Stewart’, has debuted her first foray into the solo world with Tell Me ‘Bout That.
Produced by Karma Kid, Tell Me ‘Bout That oozes the vocal abilities that many of her US female contemporaries usually show after album no. 2. Combined with a ‘gloopy’ beat full of twists and loops, the track is a strong start for Stewart, and offers her full potential to break the mould in an otherwise solo female pop/house-dominated industry.
