Coldplay and Damon Albarn were amongst the ultra-talented performers tonight (29th April) during BBC’s live Later With Jools Holland.

Performing Magic, alongside their latest single A Sky Full Of Stars, Chris Martin and his cohorts kept the crowd alive, reminding everyone their positive impact within the UK’s music scene. Albarn, joined by The Pentecostal City Mission Church Choir alongside his Heavy Seas band, performed Mr Tembo, taken from the Blur frontman’s new solo album, Everyday Robots.

With additional performances from the likes of Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings, The Black Keys, Tom Hickox and Aziza Brahim (the latter who received an additional recognition from Albarn), the show provided pure reason as to why, 50 years on, BBC2 are still at the forefront when it comes to showcasing musical talent.
