Sad news for Australian fans, but good news for us Brits – fresh off the back of cancelling her forthcoming Australian tour due to ill health, Lorde has confirmed a one-off show in London.

The teenage Kiwi singer/songwriter will grace London’s Brixton Academy on June 6th in support of her massively-successful debut album Pure Heroine, with tickets set to go on sale this Friday (26th April).

Confirming the cancellation of her Australian shows, the singer tweeted: “In case you missed the announcement earlier, I have had to postpone my Australian shows because of a nasty chest infection and general ill health. I am so so gutted to have to do this but my parents and my team stepped in telling me I needed a break after being non-stop since the Grammys in January…. We will 100% be back for this tour (most likely in November) so don’t worry about that. I just need time to get back to full Gollum girl fitness before I go out playing shows again.”

Tickets for Lorde’s London show will be priced at £24 direct from Ticketmaster UK. Click here for more information.
