One of the biggest tracks to be unveiled last week came from Lana Del Rey, by way of West Coast, the first song to be lifted by the US singer’s forthcoming Ultraviolence LP.

Whilst hardcore fans applauded the song, West Coast also surprised critics, thanks to the song’s misty vocals alongside a hazy backdrop. Now Ultraviolence producer Dan Auerbach has unveiled a more ‘radio friendly’ mix of the song, increasing the pitch of Del Rey’s vocals, and ultimately making the track more appealing to broadcasters.
