One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Katy Perry, Jessie J and Kings Of Leon are amongst the acts signed up to encourage young fans to help in the fight for global poverty.

The five-piece boyband are showing their support by encouraging young people to get behind the campaign, and in return, giving away free tickets to their summer shows.

By registering for the scheme, fans will be able to earn points by various means (i.e. sharing content, contacting their local MPs, signing petitions etc), and in return, be in a chance to win tickets.

“We are absolutely proud to join so many amazing artists to inspire people to take action to end extreme poverty” said the British group, who join the likes of Bastille, John Newman and Russell Brand in the campaign.
