Whilst there are many many differing factors which separate all of mankind, most 80’s children would agree that one common bond they all share is the desire to own a ‘hoverboard’, the futuristic contraption made famous in the 1989 movie sequel, Back To The Future II.

Well now, one of the greatest video parodies of an actual hoverboard ‘in action’ has appeared online, and it’s THAT good that one could easily believe it could be the real deal!

Featuring the likes of pro skateboarder Tony Hawk, musicians Moby and Schoolboy Q, and of course famed actor Christopher Lloyd (who played the iconic Dr Emmett Brown in all three Back To The Future movies), ‘manufacturer’ HUVr have laid claim they are the first to build such a fully-working product of this type.

However closer inspection on HUVr’s website shows a countdown timer pointing to December 2014. The relevance of this? Well the timer is graphically similar in every way to the clock in the DeLorean DMC-12, the car featured in the hit movie series, whilst December 2014 marks the 25th anniversary of Back To The Future II.

We’re certainly inclined to believe the video is a strong advertisement for a potential re-release of the movie to celebrate its anniversary, however regardless, this is still a clip you need to check out for yourself.
