The announcement is likely to be regarding his forthcoming anticipated new album, the follow-up to groundbreaking debut LP, +.
Rumours have been rife that the new release will be on-sale toward the middle of February 2014, with Sheeran having spent free time during his recent collaborative tour with Taylor Swift to write new material.
