Fans of hit TV show The Inbetweeners, it’s time to get excited; the sequel to the movie original has now been confirmed to start shooting this week in Australia.

Show writers Damon Beesley and Iain Morris took to the hit series’ Facebook page this morning, making the following announcement:

“So, the news is (drumroll)… filming is about to start and yes, it’s set in Australia. We can’t say too much as we don’t want to spoil the jokes for you, but what we can exclusively reveal is there will be kangaroos. And Australians. And possibly koalas. Oh and obviously Jay, Will, Neil and Simon providing they’re let into the country.”

The shooting is set to start this Saturday (7th December), before moving to UK shores in early January. The movie is set for a tentative August 2014 release date.
