After providing the soundtrack to his year’s heartwarming John Lewis Christmas TV commercial, it seems Lily Allen could be close to unveiling her long-awaited new material.
The singer sent the ‘Twittersphere’ into a spin earlier today (12th November), by confirming there was ‘news’ to come at 3pm this afternoon.

When the clock hit 3pm, users were sent over to Lily’s official website, and treated to what seems like a still from a forthcoming video.
Lily had originally announced some time ago that new material was to be expected in March 2014, however could the success of the John Lewis tie-in have tentatively brought this forward? We’ll be there to report on anything that happens as and when it does! In the meantime, check the image below:
