It’s rare in today’s world whereby a remix of a track, over a year from the original’s release, would include the original artist taking the helm. Not in the case of this one though.
Emeli Sande’s beautiful My Kind of Love has been given the overhaul by Lady Gaga producer RedOne along with Alex P, along with a moving and empowering visual accompaniment. Inkeeping with the power of the original, the new video focuses on the literal take of ‘words are weapons’. It’s one of those rare videos that you need to focus on, and feel rewarded in the end for doing so.
