British electropop artist Frankmusik has announced his comeback to the airwaves with new EP ‘Far From Over’.

The artist, whose first studio album ‘Complete Me’ went Top 20 in 2009, has been living it up in LA working on his developed sound, however is now back in the UK readying the release of some new songs.

Mooted as the frontrunner in BBC’s ‘Sound of 2009’ poll, Frankmusik’s blend of synths and electro have made him a household name on the underground circuit for many years, whilst producing album tracks for many of the current crop of British talent; namely blog-favourite Ellie Goulding.

‘Far From Over’ is the first new release from Frankmusik (aka Vincent Frank) since album ‘Do It In The AM’ was released in 2011, and will be available for free download this Thursday (14th February) from his official site. According to Frank’s official Twitter account, he’ll be attempting to push boundaries of electropop:

Lets make it quite clear, this EP is only trying to push whats possible in pop/electronica music. This wont be for everyone…

Whilst you eagerly await Thursday’s release however, check out the fantastic instrumental just posted on his Soundcloud page (below), as well as a powerful recent performance from his stint at Sessions 58. If the Soundcloud instrumental is anything to go by, the new material is worth waiting for!
