After last year’s fairly electro-filled lineup (Tiesto, SHM, Afrojack etc), and bar the ‘resurrection’ of Tupac, this year’s lineup of Coachella seems to have returned to its more ‘rockier’ roots! Organisers of the world-famous festival announced the initial lineup earlier today, with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Blur and The Stone Roses leading the headliners.

This year’s lineup is set to be fairly interesting it seems; along with the aforementioned, we’ll also be seeing performances from the likes of Lou Reed, Infected Mushroom, Jurassic 5, Hot Chip, Alex Clare and Paul Oakenfold.

The full line-up can be seen in the blog lead image; tickets go on sale on Tuesday (29th January) at 6pm GMT, starting from $349 (about £220).
